1. Overview
ClaudVPN is a mobile VPN application for iOS operated by Khaled LLC (“we”, “us”, or “our”). This policy applies to the ClaudVPN app and related support communications.
We designed ClaudVPN so that privacy is the default. We collect only the minimum information needed to run the service, manage free-time balance and subscriptions, show ads on the free tier (when applicable), improve reliability, and respond to support requests.
2. What we collect
2.1 Anonymous account identifier
When you use ClaudVPN, we assign an anonymous account identifier. This identifier helps us manage your free-time balance, subscription status, and basic account state. It is not your name, email address, phone number, or Apple ID, and it is not used to track your browsing activity through the VPN tunnel.
2.2 Subscription and purchase data
If you subscribe to ClaudVPN Pro, purchase processing is handled by Apple through the App Store and by RevenueCat for subscription status management. We receive limited purchase-related information such as product identifiers, subscription status, renewal state, and entitlement information.
We never receive or store your payment card details. Apple processes payments on your Apple ID account.
2.3 Advertising and device advertising identifier
On the free, ad-supported tier, we use Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may use a device advertising identifier where permitted. Advertising on iOS is governed by Apple’s App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework. If you decline tracking permission, you may still see non-personalized ads.
2.4 Diagnostics and crash data
We use Firebase Crashlytics to collect diagnostics that help us fix crashes and stability issues. This may include app version, device model, operating system version, crash stack traces, and related diagnostic metadata. Crash reports are used to improve reliability and are not used to inspect your VPN traffic or browsing activity.
2.5 Support messages
If you contact us (for example by emailing support@claudvpn.com or using our contact form), we collect the information you choose to send — typically your name, email address, subject, and message content — so we can respond.
2.6 Minimal aggregate operational data
To keep the VPN network healthy, our infrastructure may process minimal aggregate operational data such as server health, load, capacity, and connectivity status. This operational data is used for performance and reliability and is not tied to your browsing history or the content of your traffic.
2.7 What we do not collect
We do not collect or store:
- Browsing history or visited websites
- DNS queries
- Traffic contents or destination IPs tied to user activity
- Activity logs that pair your originating IP with what you did online
For the complete list, read the No-Logs Policy.
3. How we use information
We use the limited information described above to:
- Provide and operate the ClaudVPN service
- Track free-time balance and Pro subscription entitlements
- Process and validate purchases through Apple and RevenueCat
- Display ads on the free tier (including non-personalized ads when tracking is declined)
- Diagnose crashes and improve app stability
- Respond to support requests and resolve account issues
- Maintain server reliability and network performance
- Comply with legal obligations where applicable
We do not sell your personal information, and because we do not log browsing activity, there is no browsing history for us to sell or hand over.
4. Third parties we share with
We share information only as needed to operate ClaudVPN with trusted service providers:
- Google Firebase / Crashlytics — crash reporting and diagnostics
- Google AdMob — advertising on the free tier
- RevenueCat — subscription and entitlement management
- Apple — App Store purchases, billing, and related App Store services
- Server hosting providers — infrastructure that runs VPN servers and related backend systems
These providers process data according to their own privacy policies and our configuration. We instruct providers to use data only to provide their services to us, not for unrelated purposes.
5. App Tracking Transparency
On iOS, if ClaudVPN requests permission to track for advertising purposes, Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt will appear. You can allow or decline. Declining does not prevent you from using ClaudVPN. If you decline, AdMob may still show non-personalized ads on the free tier.
You can also manage tracking-related settings in iOS Settings under Privacy & Security.
6. Data retention
We retain information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy:
- Account identifiers and entitlement state — while your account remains active and for a limited period afterward as needed for fraud prevention and continuity
- Subscription records — as needed to manage entitlements and resolve billing questions (actual payment records remain with Apple)
- Crash diagnostics — for a limited period useful for debugging and product improvement
- Support messages — for as long as needed to resolve your request and maintain a reasonable support history
- Aggregate operational metrics — retained in aggregate form for network operations
When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to:
- Access information we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate information
- Request deletion of information we hold about you
- Object to or restrict certain processing, where applicable
To exercise these rights, contact us at support@claudvpn.com. We may need enough information to verify your request. Note that because we do not log browsing or traffic activity, we cannot provide or delete browsing history we never collected.
For App Store subscription management and cancellation, use your Apple ID / App Store subscription settings.
8. Children
ClaudVPN is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us information, contact support@claudvpn.com and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
9. International transfers
ClaudVPN and our service providers may process information in countries other than where you live. When we transfer information internationally, we take steps designed to protect it in accordance with this Privacy Policy and applicable law, including using trusted providers and appropriate contractual or technical safeguards where required.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Material changes may also be communicated in the app or on our website. Continued use of ClaudVPN after an update means you acknowledge the revised policy.
