1. Our promise
A VPN should increase your privacy — not create a new place where your activity is recorded. ClaudVPN’s no-logs approach means we do not monitor, store, or sell records of your browsing activity through the VPN tunnel.
This page is meant to be easy to read. For how we handle limited account, billing, ads, and diagnostics data, see the full Privacy Policy.
2. What we do NOT collect or store
We do not collect, store, or keep logs of the following:
- Visited websites or destination IPs — we do not keep a history of the sites or services you connect to through the VPN.
- Traffic contents — we do not inspect or store the contents of your encrypted VPN traffic.
- DNS queries — we do not keep logs of the domain names your device looks up while connected.
- Browsing history and downloads — we do not record what you browse, stream, or download.
- Activity-tied timestamped logs — we do not keep session timelines that show what you did and when.
- Originating IP paired with activity — we do not store records that link your real (originating) IP address to specific online activity.
3. What we DO handle (and why)
Running a VPN product still requires a small amount of operational and account information. None of the items below are browsing logs:
- Anonymous account identifier — used to manage free-time balance, account state, and Pro entitlements. It is not used to reconstruct browsing history.
- Subscription status — whether you are on Free or Pro, plan type, and renewal state (via Apple / RevenueCat). We never store your card details.
- Aggregate server metrics — health, load, and capacity indicators that help keep servers online. These are operational, not personal activity logs.
- Crash and diagnostic reports — via Firebase Crashlytics (for example app version, device model, OS version, and crash traces) so we can fix bugs.
- Advertising data on the free tier — ads may be shown via Google AdMob. Tracking is subject to iOS App Tracking Transparency; declining still allows non-personalized ads.
4. Nothing to sell or hand over on request
Because we do not record browsing activity, DNS queries, traffic contents, or activity-linked connection histories, there is no user activity log for us to sell to advertisers, brokers, or other parties — and no browsing dossier to produce if someone asks for one.
If we receive a lawful request for information, we can only share what we actually have (for example limited account or support information described in our Privacy Policy). We cannot share browsing logs we never collected.
5. Per-device encryption keys
ClaudVPN uses encryption to protect your traffic between your device and our VPN servers. Cryptographic material used for your secure sessions is handled on a per-device / per-session basis as needed to establish and maintain the tunnel. We do not keep a browsing archive keyed to those sessions.
In practical terms: encryption protects your traffic in transit; our no-logs practice means we are not building a usable record of where you went afterward.
